​Ripley Wolves beat Milverton in shoot-out

It took a late goal to send the game into overtime and a shoot-out, but the Ripley Wolves improved to 3-0 on the season, with a 2-1 win in Milverton, Saturday night.

Mike Howes scored with just over a minute remaining in regulation to send the low-scoring affair to overtime. Assists went to Dan Nicoloff and Ethan Skinner.

Goalie Jason Hamilton held the fort in overtime, and allowed only one by him in the shoot-out, which ended on a snipe by Jason Dopaco in the sixth round.

The Wolves will host Tavistock, Saturday, Nov. 2, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, at 5 p.m. Game sponsors are Kincardine Quick Lube, Sobeys Kincardine, McTeer Automotive and Home Hardware Kincardine.

The match will be followed by a Kincardine Bulldogs game.
