Fifth annual Halloween Haunt raises more than $2,000 for Kincardine Food Bank
The fifth annual Reid Family Halloween Haunt was another amazing success, raising more than $2,000 and a truckload of non-perishable food items, all destined for the Kincardine Food Bank.

Held Friday and Saturday nights at the home of Nicole, Nick and Cullen Reid, south of Kincardine, the event drew hundreds of people to walk through the haunted front yard, complete with spiders, monsters, a werewolf, the Grim Reaper, ghouls, skeletons, and much more, as well as creepy music and scary lighting.

Once you made it through the haunt, you were welcome to enjoy soup and baked goods, all by donation to the food bank. And you could purchase Christmas goodies from the Bruce Shrine Club.

The Reids thank their family and the many volunteers for helping out, including Kevin and Karen MacKay, Marlene and Terry Reid, students Dayton Delisle and Quinn McGrath, the Soup Spoon Company, and the Bruce Shrine Club, as well as all the wonderful people who donated baked goods.

Until next year, thank you to the generous Kincardine community!
