'Tis the season for Christmas bazaars and artisan fairs
'Tis the season for Christmas bazaars, craft shows and artisan fairs, as evidenced by the number held over the past few weeks in the Kincardine area.
Trillium Court Seniors' Community in Kincardine had a successful Christmas bazaar, Nov. 26, with about 30 vendors, the biggest event ever.
On display was a great variety of crafts, home-baked goods, treats and sweets, jewellery, artwork, and more.
The following day, Nov. 27, RVilla Retirement Living in Ripley, hosted its annual craft and bake sale, with 22 vendors and a huge crowd gathering for the event.
Again, there was a marvellous assortment of baked goods, artwork, crafts, gift-giving ideas, and more, available.
And finally, Saturday, Dec. 5, St. Anthony's School in Kincardine, held its annual Artisan Fair, featuring student crafts made from recycled materials.
There were many beautiful items, from jar lights and lanterns, to Christmas ornaments and chalk boards, as well as hot chocolate, hot cider and Christmas goodies.
