Robert Gallant won $2,304 in the Catch the Ace draw. He chose Envelope No. 34 which contained the Jack of Clubs. Remember that 50 per cent of all ticket sales support Huron Shores Hospice, the Kincardine Legion, and the Tiverton Lions for local projects in our community. We’ve got three more draws before there will be a two-week break over Christmas and New Year’s.
At the Saturday Meat Draw, we didn’t have any double-dippers, but Dave Fritz was lucky, as he took home $276.50 in the 50/50 draw and also won in the regular meat draw. Congrats, Dave! The next Mega Meat will be held Dec. 7, from 3- 7 p.m., with entertainment provided by Midnight Special Duo, and perogies and chicken wings for snacks. In addition to the usual meats to be won, there will be turkey prizes. Please note, there will be no Meat Draws, Dec. 21 or 28.
This week, Branch 183 was pleased to present a “big cheque” donation of $1,000 to the Kincardine Junior Curling Program, to help our local athletes improve their curling skills.
