The International Plowing Match (IPM) 2026 committee, the Ontario Plowmen’s Association and the Bruce County Plowmen’s Association have announced that the IPM logo has been chosen and souvenirs are now available.
The International Plowing Match and Rural Expo is scheduled to return to Bruce County, running Sept. 20-26, 2026, at the site of Lang Farms, just west of Walkerton, at the corner of Durham Road and Bruce County Road 3).
“The logo depicts the 50th Anniversary of the IPM being in Bruce County (1976-2026),” said Gord Lang, chairman of IPM 2026. “We think people will be pleased to add an item to their souvenir collection.”
In an effort to begin raising awareness and getting people involved, a first wave of souvenirs has been created and will be available for those who would like to support a local initiative and local businesses as part of their Christmas shopping. Items can be viewed on-line at ipm26.itemorder.com/shop/home/. Dec. 11 is the deadline for Christmas orders.
“Planning and progress continue and our call for volunteers, sponsors, exhibitors and vendors is an ongoing process,” said Lang. “If you are interested in getting involved in the biggest event in Bruce County, send an E-mail message to brucecountyipm@gmail.com or connect through the Facebook page. New ideas are always welcome.”
Merry Christmas and Season’s Blessings to all! Watch for more details on local media and social media as plans are developed for what will be an event to remember in the County of Bruce in 2026!
