Mark Wayne “Tank” Farquhar of Kincardine, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at Brightshores Health System, Owen Sound. He was 61.

Loving son of Barb Farquhar and the late Roy Farquhar (2020).

Beloved brother of Lynn Farquhar (Deb Posthumus) of London.

Cherish uncle of Madison Gordon.

Predeceased by his nephews, Mathew, Jeremy and Jason Gordon.

Fondly remembered by his special friends, Danielle, Sara and Lindsey; as well as extended family members and many friends.

“Tank,” as Mark was affectionately known, was a lover of antiques and collectibles. He and his sister, Lynn, shared this passion.

This generous man, who had a “prickly side,” looked after his mother and was the type of person who would give you the shirt off his back, if you needed it.

Family will receive friends at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, Thursday, Dec. 5, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.

A Celebration of Life to honour Mark, will be held in the spring; details to follow when finalized.

Spring interment, Tiverton Cemetery.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Canada or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
