Open invitation to Christmas Day Community Meal in Kincardine
Christmas can be a difficult time for many people for a number of reasons. So, to help create a welcoming environment, a Community Meal will be held Christmas Day, Wednesday, Dec. 25, at 1 p.m.
This is an open invitation to individuals, couples, families or even visitors who may not be spending time with family or friends, to enjoy a turkey dinner celebration. This is the ninth year for the meal.
Many volunteers have already come forward to assist with the preparation of this meal which is held in the lower level parish hall at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Kincardine (wheelchair accessible).
If you have any questions, contact Sam Finnie at 519-396-2001.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m., with dinner at 1p.m. Freewill donation at the door. Anyone not spending time with family or friends is welcome. Reserve your spot by calling Finnie 519-396-2001 by Dec. 20.
