Cold, windy, snowy night for tree-lighting at St. Andrews Park in Tiverton
It was a cold, windy, snowy night, as a crowd gathered at St. Andrews Park in Tiverton for the annual tree-lighting event, Sunday evening, Dec. 1.
Santa Claus greeted everyone and then had the children count down for the lighting of the large tree on the east side of the park, as well as all the beautiful lights throughout the park.
People enjoyed some carol-singing, as well as hot chocolate and cookies provided by the Tiverton Baptist Church, and the children toured through a fire truck supervised by Tiverton firefighters.
