Bruce County amends county-wide Development Charges Bylaw

Bruce County council has approved Development Charges Amending Bylaw No. 2024-069 which amends county-wide Development Charges Bylaw 2023-48.

The amendment was approved Dec. 5, under Section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended, and comes into effect Jan. 1, 2025.

This amending bylaw adds Development Charges for growth-related studies as provided in the table below.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, the schedule of Development Charges imposed by Bylaw 2023-48 and Amending Bylaw 2024-069 is as follows (note: these charges are phased-in as per Section 3.14 of Bylaw No. 2023-048).
