Ripley Wolves take 2-0 series lead over Erin Outlaws
The Ripley Wolves have wasted no time putting a stranglehold on their opening round series against Erin, with 10-3 and 7-0 wins on the weekend.
The Wolves hosted Game 1, Friday night, riding a six-goal third period to a 10-3 win.
Dan Nicoloff led the way with a hat-trick, while Garrett Meurs added two. Other goals were scored by Jarred Colling, Ethan Skinner, Alex Kuntz, Drew Davidson, and Evan Visser.
Assists went to Todd Hellyer (3), Cody Britton (2), Pat Looby (2), Derek Skinner (2), Tyson Soers, Dawson Fahrer, E. Skinner, Kaden Hoggarth, Gerrit Satosek, goalie Jason Hamilton, Kuntz, Nicoloff, Davidson, Meurs, and Colling.
Shots were 50-29 in favour of the Wolves, with Hamilton getting the win in the Wolves net.

Game 2 was Saturday night in Erin and the Wolves skated to a 7-0 victory.
Cody Britton had a hat-trick, while E. Skinner added two. Singles were scored by Satosek and Soers.
Assists went to Tyler McCarthy (2), Satosek (2), Mike Howes, Brett Catto, Fahrer, E. Skinner, Kuntz, Hellyer, Davidson, and Nicoloff.
Hamilton got the shut-out for the Wolves, stopping all 25 shots.
Game 3 is at the Ripley Arena, Saturday, Feb. 15, at 7:30 p.m., while Game 4 will be played on Family Day, Monday, Feb. 17, at 5:30 p.m. in Erin.
