Kincardine Bulldogs take series against Wingham, four games to one
The Kincardine Bulldogs took their quarter-final series against the Wingham Ironmen, four games to one, after winning Game 5 at home, Friday night, by a score of 2-1, in the Pollock Division of the PJHL.
The Ironmen opened the scoring, 15 seconds into the game, before the ‘Dogs shut them down.
Jordan Moulton tied the game for the Bulldogs, midway in the first, scoring from Caeleb Bowler and Trent Houghton.
Jordan Beisel then made it 2-1 for Kincardine, in the second period, scoring from Blake Hellyer and Aiden Yarde.
Both sides had good scoring chances but neither could post another marker, and the Bulldogs took the 2-1 win and the series, advancing to the semi-finals.
Kincardine goalie Sebastian Moncada made 33 saves on 34 shots.
