Kincardine Bulldogs end season with overtime loss to Hanover
The Kincardine Bulldogs ended their season with a hard-fought overtime loss in Game 4 of their series against the Hanover Barons, Wednesday night, at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
The ‘Dogs opened the scoring early in the first on a goal by Aiden Yarde from Trent Houghton, but Hanover scored late in the period to make it a 1-1 game.
Kincardine went ahead, 2-1, late in the second frame, on a powerplay goal by Jordan Moulton from Houghton and Caeleb Bowler, but seconds later, Hanover tied it up again, 2-2.
The same thing happened in the third period, as Chad Lawrence put the Bulldogs ahead, 3-2, scoring from Jordan Beisel and Moulton, but minutes later, Hanover had tied it up once more, pushing the game into overtime.
Seconds into the overtime period, Hanover scored, winning the game, 4-3, and taking the series in four games straight.
Kincardine goalie Sebastian Moncada made 42 saves on 46 shots.
