Huron-Bruce U11 Blizzard wins WOAA, advances to OMHA finals
The Huron-Bruce Under-11 Blizzard hockey team has won the Western Ontario Athletic Association (WOAA) championship and advances to the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) finals.
The team has been undefeated in the playoffs, and took on the Bruce Peninsula Predators in a best-of-three series, winning two games to take the championship. The final game was played Saturday in Lion’s Head, where the Blizzard won, 4-3.
The team now moves on to the OMHA championship, April 4-6.
