South Bruce OPP report two impaired drivers
DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED IN KINCARDINE
(KINCARDINE, ON) - April 5, at 5:58 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received a traffic complaint in the Town of Kincardine.
The subject vehicle was located along Gary Street. The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the involved driver. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Christina WATSON, 56, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with Operation while Impaired - blood-alcohol concentration (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice, May 7, to answer to the charge.
YOUNG DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - April 6, at 2:31 a.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP stopped to check a vehicle along Sideroad 20, Township of Huron-Kinloss.
The investigating officer detected signs of impairment from the involved driver. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
A 17-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss, was charged with:
- Operation while Impaired - blood-alcohol concentration (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b)
- Novice driver - B.A.C. above zero, HTA 44.1(3)
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charges.
