Ainsdale Golf Course set to open April 19

The warm, sunny weather is upon us, and with that, Ainsdale Golf Course, located just off Highway 21, south of Kincardine, is set to open Saturday, April 19, at 9:04 a.m.

This start date is subject to change, weather pending, as is use of power carts, depending on course conditions. You can call Ainsdale at 519-395-5555, that morning, to see whether or not carts will be permitted.

On-line booking for tee times is open - 10 days in advance for members and seven days in advance for public players. Staff will be at the course, Monday, April 14, to call and book times, roughly between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. To guarantee booking times now, visit ainsdalegolfcourse.com to book.

The driving range will not be open April 19. It is expected to open closer to the beginning of May. The bar and restaurant will also not be open April 19; however, drinks and snacks will be available from the Golf Shop.

FUND-RAISER FOR KDSS MUSIC DEPARTMENT

New this year, Ainsdale is hosting a fund-raising dinner in support of the Kincardine District Senior School music department.

The event will be held Wednesday, April 16. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner at 6 p.m. Elementary and secondary school music students will be performing throughout the evening.

Tickets are $40 each, and 100 per cent of the proceeds go to the KDSS music department. Tickets are available (cash only) at Ainsdale, KDSS, Littles By the Lake, and ReMax Kincardine.
