Legendary Canadian musician and songwriter, Kim Mitchell, is the Saturday night headliner at the Kincardine Scottish Festival and Highland Games, set for July 4-6, in Victoria Park.

Mitchell is best-known as the front-man of the iconic rock band, “Max Webster,” and for his successful solo career. With such hits as “Go For a Soda,” “Patio Lanterns,” and “Rock N Roll Duty,” he has earned a place in the hearts of rock fans across Canada and beyond.

His dynamic stage presence and unmistakable guitar prowess have made him a staple of the Canadian music scene for decades. As a Juno Award-winning artist, he continues to captivate audiences with his high-energy performances and timeless hits.

Joining Mitchell on stage Saturday night, are Oldman Flanagan’s Ghost, Ally the Piper, and the Tartan Terrors.

Oldman Flanagan's Ghost knows Celtic music! With members Stephen Lamb on lead vocals, Bexy Ashworth on fiddle, and Gary Grant (Riverdance) on percussion, they are joined by Spencer Murray (Come From Away) on pipes and whistle and Murray Foster (Great Big Sea/Moxy Fruvous) on bass.

They combine the sound of traditional folk instruments with a passionate intensity. With their rendition of classic Celtic and East Coast covers, traditional fiddle tunes, and a variety of original tunes, they invite the audience to participate in a fun and energetic stage show.

Ally the Piper is a modern bagpiping sensation who has taken social media by storm with her powerful performances and dynamic style. Known for blending traditional Scottish tunes with contemporary hits, her electrifying presence and talent have earned her millions of followers on such platforms as TikTok and Instagram.

Whether performing classic bagpipe melodies or unique rock-inspired covers, she captivates audiences with her passion and creativity.

The Tartan Terrors are a powerhouse of Celtic entertainment, combining traditional Scottish music, lively dance, and uproarious comedy into an unforgettable show. Hailed as “North America’s Celtic Event,” this dynamic group takes the audience on a whirlwind journey through Scottish culture with a modern twist.



Showcasing championship-calibre dancers, talented musicians, and captivating vocalists, the Tartan Terrors are known for their spirited performances that blend bagpipes, fiddles, and driving rhythms with contemporary flair. Whether delivering foot-stomping jigs or haunting ballads, they captivate audiences with their passion and talent.

Friday night features Oldman Flanagan’s Ghost, Ally the Piper, the Tartan Terrors, and U.K. Calling – a 1980s Tribute.

Sunday afternoon’s line-up includes Taylor’s Story (Taylor Swift Tribute), Oldman Flanagan’s Ghost, Ally the Piper, and the Tartan Terrors.
