South Bruce OPP respond to drowning in Paisley
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - One person is dead, following a drowning incident Monday, on the Saugeen River in Paisley.
May 12, at 1:31 p.m., the South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedic Services and Arran-Elderslie Fire and Emergency Services responded to a report of an individual in distress in the Saugeen River.
The individual was brought to the shore by members of the public and life-saving measures commenced.
A 25-year-old of Georgetown was pronounced deceased. The victim's identity will not be released to protect the privacy of the family.
