Tiverton and District Lions going to the dogs

The Tiverton and District Lions thank all those who play the Catch the Ace progressive lottery which supports the Kincardine Legion, Huron Shores Hospice and Tiverton Lions Club.

It is through your generosity and support that the club can make a difference through substantial donations in the community and throughout Canada.

This past year, the proceeds from the lottery were used for the following projects:

• $25,000 to help purchase an Autism Assist Dog for five-year-old Lucas Mullen of Tiverton

 

• $20,000 to help build a new Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guide Training Facility

$5,000 to help train more dogs now to fill the backlog of Dog Guides
