Kincardine resident charged after collision near Ripley
(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - July 1, at 11:08 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a motor vehicle collision on Bruce County Road 6, east of Ripley.
Police attended and discovered that a pick-up truck had entered the ditch, and the driver had departed prior to police arrival.
As a result of the investigation, Rodney HUSK, 54, of the Municipality of Kincardine, was charged with:
- Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a)
- Dangerous operation, CC 320.13(1)
- Fail to remain, HTA 200(1)(a)
- Fail to report accident, HTA 199(1)
The accused is set to appear Aug. 13, at the Walkerton Ontario Court of Justice to answer to the charges.
