Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary raises almost $12,600 at annual Tag Days
Members of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary braved the elements to hold their annual Tag Days, Thursday, June 26, and Friday June 27, raising almost $12,600, with the total in E-transfers still to come.
The auxiliary had stations set up at Sobeys, Home Hardware, Canadian Tire, the LCBO, and No Frills, and whether in the sunshine or rain, this wonderful community continued to fill the shiny bedpans!
Thank you to the businesses for allowing the auxiliary to be at their locations, and an extra big thank you to Ginny Ross for all her hard work organizing this biggest fund-raiser of the year. Appreciation to the members and volunteers who gave of their time to man these stations, and to everyone who donated to this event – the auxiliary is especially grateful for this support!
The auxiliary's fund-raising goal this year is $28,250, to purchase the following equipment for the Kincardine Hospital: a patient bed, disinfectant equipment for ultrasound probes, a floor polisher, and a portable suction.
