Huron-Bruce MPP honours outstanding residents with King Charles III Coronation Medals
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson proudly presented King Charles III Coronation Medals to six exceptional individuals from across the riding, during a special ceremony held Thursday in Goderich.
The recipients recognized for their outstanding contributions to their communities were:
- Jeff Cardiff
- Duncan Hawthorne
- Ken Irwin
- Julie Sawchuk
- Todd Thompson
- Mary Ellen Zielman
On behalf of Ontario's Solicitor General, Thompson also presented a medal to Jeremy Inglis, formerly of Belmore, now deputy fire chief of the City of Burlington.
The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a commemorative honour that recognizes individuals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to service, community leadership, and the betterment of society - values that reflect the spirit of His Majesty's reign.
"The evening ceremony brought together friends and family to celebrate the achievements and contributions of these recipients,” said Thompson. “The medals serve as a symbol of appreciation from the Crown for their continued commitment to improving the lives of those around them."
