Individual in custody after barricaded-person incident in Mildmay
(SOUTH BRUCE, ON) - July 24, at 2:54 p.m., the South Bruce OPP responded to the report of a barricaded person at a Peter Street residence in Mildmay.
Police contained the area with the assistance of the West Region OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region OPP Emergency Response Team, and OPP Canine Unit. Crisis negotiators and Bruce County Paramedic Services were also on the scene.
At approximately 5:20 p.m., one individual was taken into custody. The incident was resolved and resources cleared. There was no threat to public safety.
