Kincardine needs to rebuild the Secord Monument, says resident

To the Editor:

This “Toronto Sun” article: torontosun.com/news/local-news/warmington-new-statue-is-turning-heads-while-reminding-that-cancelling-history-cancels-freedom, should have come out before the “Secord Seven” on Kincardine council made the error of destroying the Dr. Solomon Secord Monument.

The individuals who brought forward this item to council, and the those who pushed forward the destruction of the monument, needed to consider aspects of this article.

Council needs to rebuild the Secord Monument and place it in a significant place as not to destroy our municipality’s past.
