Arrest made after threatening phone call in Walkerton
(BROCKTON, ON) - Aug. 20, at 1:28 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a threatening phone call made to a financial institution in Walkerton.
Officers attended the financial institution and confirmed the well-being of employees inside.
Investigation revealed that an individual contacted the location and is alleged to have made threats to harm employees on site.
As a result, a 42-year-old resident of Arran-Elderslie was charged with Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm, CC 264.1(1)(a).
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
