Carol Menary of Lucknow dies at the age of 74

Carol Anne Menary (nee Edward) of Lucknow, beloved wife of Harold Menary, died at London University Hospital, surrounded by her family, Aug. 24, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Clinton, Jan. 13, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Isobel (Gibb) and James Edward.

Greatly missed by her children, James (Bev) Menary, Bobbi Anne Menary and Terri (Jason) Menary Stanley; as well as grandchildren, Krystal, Jamie, Rebecca, Stephanie, Easton, Treyton and Quinlyn; and nine great-grandchildren.

Also survived by her brother, Jim (Rose Mary) Edward; and sister, Bonnie (Lorne) Glanville.

Predeceased by her grandson, James Menary; and sister, Pat (Gus) Bisback.

Following Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with a private family service.

A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Donations in Carol’s memory, to the Canadian Cancer Society or Wingham Hospital Foundation, would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy; arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
