About 20 residents displaced after fire in Lucknow condo unit

(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - Sept. 10, at 8:42 a.m., the South Bruce OPP and the Lucknow and District Fire Department responded to a structure fire at a condo unit along Montgomery Lane in Lucknow.

Multiple units at the location have been affected, resulting in approximately 20 residents being displaced for the remainder of the day.

There are no reported injuries, and the Township of Huron-Kinloss has opened a local arena for temporary shelter for these residents. Assistance programs have been engaged and will be attending. The fire is not being treated as suspicious and no roads are closed.
