Threat leads to weapons offence in Goderich
(GODERICH, ON) - The Huron County OPP has charged an individual with a weapons offence, following an incident on Victoria Street South in the Town of Goderich.
Friday, Aug. 29, just after 3 p.m., Huron OPP officers were contacted about an individual who reportedly made threats involving a weapon. Police subsequently located and arrested the individual. Officers located an imitation handgun, loaded with pellet ammunition, on the accused.
Logan LONDRY, 25, of no fixed address has been charged with the following offences:
- Uttering Threats - Cause Death or Bodily Harm
- Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose
- Breach of Recognizance - (two counts)
The accused was processed and held for a bail hearing, and then remanded into custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich.
