Walker House Museum to host screening of “We Lend a Hand”

The Walker House Museum is marking the final day of its Remembrance Day exhibit, with a viewing of “We Lend a Hand,” Saturday, Nov. 15, from 2-4 p.m., with a question-and-answer period and light refreshments afterwards.

“We Lend a Hand” is a documentary exploring the lost stories of the 40,000 teenage girls who gave crucial help on Canadian farms during the Second World War.
