Tiverton Fall Fair set for Oct. 3-5, with theme, “Strength in Our Roots”
The Tiverton Agricultural Society is welcoming everyone to the fall fair this weekend, Oct. 3-5, with the theme: “Strength in Our Roots.”
Exhibits will be accepted Thursday night and Friday morning, with the officially opening of the fair Friday at 7 p.m., featuring the Tiny Tot Ambassador Competition, Local Entertainment Showcase, and the Pie and Cake Auction.
Also on Friday, are the midway, laser tag on the ball diamond, and beer gardens at the Lions Hall.
Saturday morning begins with the Tiverton Lions Breakfast from 8-10:30 a.m.
The Saddle Horse Show is at 10 a.m.,
The parade begins at 11 a.m., running from just west of Tiverton to the fairgrounds.
Saturday afternoon features the midway, Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull, Kids' Bean Box, Lions Cake Wheel, Antique Tractor Display, and Kids Pedal Tractor Pull, as well as the beer gardens with live entertainment at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.
The day ends with the Fall Fair Dance (age of majority) from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunday morning, there will be a Community Church Service at 10 a.m., at the community centre, as well as a Craft Show in the Annex, a Children’s Pet Show, and beer gardens in the Lions Hall.
Registration for the Truck and Tractor Pull begins at 10 a.m., and the event is at 12:30 p.m.
