South Bruce OPP report runaway youth located; impaired driver arrested
RUNAWAY YOUTH LOCATED
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - Sept. 30, at 2:51 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a runaway youth in Paisley.
Police responded to the area after receiving the report that the youth had run away into the trail system.
Officers quickly contained the area, followed by assistance from the OPP West Region Canine Unit, Emergency Response Team, and OPP Aviation.
The youth was soon located in good health and returned to caregivers.
IMPAIRED DRIVER ARRESTED
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Sept. 30, at 12:49 a.m., a member of the South Bruce OPP stopped to check a vehicle along Bruce County Road 20, Municipality of Kincardine.
When speaking with the driver, the investigating officer detected signs of impairment. The driver was placed under arrest and transported for further testing.
Kristen MAGRATH, 41, of London, was charged with Operation while impaired, CC 320.14(1)(a).
The accused is set to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton, Nov. 12, to answer to the charge.
