​Kincardine Theatre Guild holding auditions for “Taking Care of the Browns”

The Kincardine Theatre Guild is holding auditions, Oct. 20 and 22, for the February, 2026, show, “Taking Care of the Browns,” by Peter Paylor.

Danny’s a teacher. Susan’s a librarian. They’re nice people. They were raised by nice parents. So, when Janet needs help moving, they help, despite the fact that they don’t know her. And when Janet needs to find a home for her dead parents, they take them in and take care of them. How much trouble could a couple of urns be?

A hilarious and heart-warming romantic comedy about family, friends, and dead house guests, and a reminder that some old-fashioned things are worth keeping.

Auditions will be held upstairs at the Kincardine Theatre Guild, 707 Queen Street, Kincardine, Monday, Oct. 20, and Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m.

Required roles include four adults – two males and two females.

There will be eight performances, scheduled for Feb. 12-15 and 19-22, 2026.
