New doctor to join Kincardine Family Health Organization next fall
Dr. Albert Luu (above, left, with his partner, Victoria), will be joining the Kincardine Family Health Organization in September, 2026.
In addition to launching a new family practice in Kincardine, he will be working at the Kincardine Hospital, in the emergency room and with hospitalized patients.
Luu grew up in Toronto, earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Toronto, and completed medical school at Western University where he is currently finishing his family medicine residency.
“I was fortunate to complete part of my training in Kincardine and quickly fell in love with the work environment, culture, and scenery,” he said. “I’m passionate about medicine, travel, and technology, and look forward to joining the community.”
The Kincardine Family Health Organization currently includes 11 physicians providing primary care for approximately 14,500 patients. A full complement of more than 15 physicians ensures ongoing support for emergency and hospital care, retirement home visits, palliative and memory programs, pregnancy and baby wellness clinics, and mental health management for patients at all stages of life.
“Recruiting and retaining physicians is one of our top priorities as a municipality,” said Kincardine mayor Kenneth Craig. “Through our physician recruitment program, we’re proud to welcome Dr. Albert Luu to Kincardine and continue strengthening access to quality health care close to home.”
“The continued support of Bruce Power and the Society of United Professionals plays an integral role in recruiting and retaining physicians in Kincardine,” said Chrystel Murphy, physician recruiter and medical clinic manager. “We’re excited to welcome Dr. Albert Luu back to the community.”
Luu will be accepting new patients when his practice opens. For more information and details on joining the Kincardine Family Health Organization’s on-line wait-list, visit the patient resources page at
