Ripley Wolves lose, 5-2, to Saugeen Shores at Hockey Day in Kincardine
The Ripley Wolves suffered their first loss of the season, 5-2, at the hands of the Saugeen Shores Winterhawks, Saturday night, at the Davidson Centre, during Hockey Day in Kincardine.

Ripley's goals were scored by Mike Howes and Evan Visser who both netted their first goals of the young season.

Assists went to Tyson Soers, Pat Looby and Dawson Fahrer.

Wolves goalie Garrett Golley got the start in net and stopped 25 of the 29 shots he faced, with Saugeen Shores adding an empty-netter late to seal the win.

Next Saturday, Nov. 1, the Wolves are on the road to Elmvale to face the Harvesters, with an 8 p.m. puck drop.
