Annual Halloween Haunt brings in almost $2,000 and truck full of items for Kincardine Food Bank
The Reid Family’s sixth annual Halloween Haunt has raised about $1,800, and brought in a pick-up truck full of non-perishable food, all for the Kincardine Food Bank.
Held on the weekend at the home of Nick, Nicole and Cullen Reid, with help from the Reid and MacKay families, the event was a great success despite the cold, windy, rainy weather.
The Reids’ front lawn was encased in all sorts of haunting mayhem and horror, as Nicole greeted those brave enough to walk through it, and other assorted characters lurked about, including one “screaming” terror who shall remain anonymous!
It’s all in good Halloween fun, and at the end of it all, people were invited to calm down and pick up some delicious baked goods, by donation, to support the food bank; and purchase some Christmas cake and other goodies from the Bruce Shrine Club.
More ghosts and goblins will be running amok this Friday evening as they go trick-or-treating on Halloween night.
