Kincardine Good Food Box program donates more tokens to Kincardine Community Living
The Kincardine Area Good Food Box Neighbour-to-Neighbour initiative has donated 50 more tokens to Community Living of Kincardine and District to provide supported individuals and families with access to fresh produce.
Wendy Cox, one of the program co-ordinators, made the presentation, Monday, at the Community Living office.
She said that 50 tokens were given to Community Living back in January but the agency requested more for its client families.
“We were able to donate a further 50 tokens (valued at $1,250) because we received a considerable and generous donation from the 100 People Who Share Bruce County back in February,” said Cox.
