South Bruce Grey Health Centre releases strategic plan for 2026-30
The South Bruce Grey Health Centre has completed the development of the hospital organization’s strategic plan for 2026-30.
The new five-year plan is focused on transformation and innovation to solidify a sustainable future for health care delivery at the four hospital sites operated by the health centre, including Kincardine, Walkerton, Durham and Chesley.
“In all of the conversations we have had with our stakeholders through the strategic planning process, we heard consistently that our staff and physicians are our greatest strength and most valuable resource, and the importance of having access to care in all four of our communities,” said Nancy Shaw, president and chief executive officer of the health centre. “Our collective goal is to prioritize the well-being of our team to support the continued delivery of exceptional patient care in the communities we serve.”
“Transformation and innovation will be key,” said health centre board chairman Joe Dietrich. “We know that in order to be successful, we need to do things differently than we have in the past. Our strategic priorities for the coming years will guide the organization in the direction of a sustainable future.”
Members of the community are invited to attend “Coffee with the Leadership Team” in November, an opportunity to review and discuss the new strategic plan and ask questions of the team. Dates and locations for the event will be released shortly.
