Police seeking public’s assistance with sexual assault investigation in Goderich
(GODERICH, ON) - The Huron County OPP Crime Unit is investigating a report of a sexual assault in the Town of Goderich.
Nov. 2, the Huron County OPP received the report of a sexual assault that reportedly took place on MacEwan Street, just south of Suncoast Drive East, sometime between 12:25-1:35 p.m., Nov. 2.
The suspect vehicle driver is described as a Caucasian male, approximately 60 years of age, clean shaven, about 5’4” tall, and medium build, wearing a hat, denim jacket and jeans.
Investigators canvassed the area and obtained images of the vehicle believed to be involved in the crime. The vehicle is described as follows a
2014-18 GMC Sierra 1500 pick-up truck, black in colour, four-door quad cab, running boards, mud flaps, chrome bumpers, and steel rims (below).
Police are seeking the public's assistance to identify the vehicle and suspect driver. If you have any video surveillance available or dash-cam footage in the area of the incident at the time noted above, contact the OPP - Incident No. E251488267.
