Saturday evening brought just enough snow but without the severe cold and wind, making it perfect weather for the Kincardine Santa Claus Parade, under the theme, “Christmas Movie Magic.”
Organized by the Kincardine and District Chamber of Commerce, the parade drew a massive crowd as it marched from Connaught Park along Broadway to Queen Street and then through downtown Kincardine to Victoria Park.
It featured numerous floats, including plenty of businesses, politicians and organizations. There were also Kincardine fire trucks, transport trucks, a school bus, and a plethora of other vehicles, as well as the Kincardine Air Cadets, the Kincardine Community Concert Band, and three Grinches.
Santa Claus brought up the end of the parade, and then took a few moments to visit with the children before heading back to the North Pole.
