Special screening of "The Nest" at Walker House Museum, Feb. 7
Everyone is welcome to a special screening of 'The Nest," Saturday, Feb. 7, from 2-4 p.m., at the Walker House Museum in Kincardine.
This powerful and genre-defying film explores the story of de-colonial writer Julietta Singh.
At the end of her mother’s life, Singh returns to her childhood home to say goodbye. As she delves into the house’s history, she uncovers 140 years of forgotten matriarchs and political histories she never knew. Through cross-community collaboration, a single home is transformed from a place of siloed stories into a site of radical potential.
Admission is by donation (not mandatory).
Space is limited, so registration is required. Contact the Walker House Museum at 519-396-1850 or by E-ail: thewalkerhousemuseum@gmail.com.
