​Laurie Ayers of Kincardine dies at the age of 64
Laurie Ethel May Ayers of Kincardine died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Pinecrest Manor, Lucknow, in her 65th year.

Beloved mother of Mindy Ayers of Kincardine; and grandmother of Christopher and Dustin Longmire.

Remembered by her siblings, Gail (Ralph) Grass of Kincardine, Ted (Julie) Macaulay of Georgetown, Jerry (Betty) Macaulay of Stayner; half-siblings, Clara Ward and Larry Ward, both of Hanover, Tammy Doyle of Collingwood, Serena Macaulay of Hamilton, and Samantha Macaulay of Manitoba.

Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her husband, Edward; son, Tom; brother, Tracy Macaulay; and parents, Gordon and Edith (nee Adams) Macaulay.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, from 1 p.m. until the time of the funeral at 2 p.m.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart Stroke Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
