South Bruce OPP hosting Human-Trafficking Awareness Community Town Hall events
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Human-trafficking continues to impact communities across Canada. Officially recognized in 2021, Human-Trafficking Awareness Day reminds the community of the urgent need to protect and support those affected:
- 58 per cent of reported human-trafficking cases in Canada occur in Ontario.
- 25 per cent of known victims are under the age of 18.
- Human-trafficking remains one of the fastest-growing crimes in Canada.
Know the signs. If you see something, say something! TOGETHER, we can help prevent and stop human-trafficking.

- Wednesday, March 4, from 6:30-9 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine
- Wednesday, March 11, from 6:30-9 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Walkerton Arena in Walkerton
