Huron OPP auxiliary officers volunteer at Goderich Coldest Night of the Year Walk

(GODERICH, ON) - Members of the Huron County OPP auxiliary volunteered at the Coldest Night of The Year Walk, Saturday, Feb. 28, in the Town of Goderich.

People of all ages gathered to show their support and make this annual fund-raising event a success! About 250 walkers on 47 teams raised $155,577 for the Huron Homeless Initiative.

The walk is a nationwide fund-raising event that has been held in more than 200 towns and cities across Canada. It is a family-friendly walk that supports local charities by raising funds for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
