Campbellville teen charged with stunt-driving in Brockton
(BROCKTON, ON) - March 9, at 8:14 a.m., the South Bruce OPP was conducting proactive patrols along Bruce County Road 20 in Brockton when a vehicle was observed travelling at 149 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone.
The vehicle was stopped, and the driver, a 19-year-old of Campbellville, was charged with the following offences under the Highway Traffic Act:
- Drive motor vehicle - perform stunt
- Speeding 149 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone
- Obstruct plate
A 30-day administrative driver's licence suspension and a 14-day vehicle impoundment were initiated, with the driver facing a future court date.
