"Still Becoming" Artist Workshop set for April 14 at Walker House Museum
In preparation for the "Still Becoming" community art exhibition in June, the Walker House Museum in Kincardine is offering a facilitated workshop with local artist Andreah Barker, Tuesday, April 14, from 5-7 p.m.
Whether you are seeking creative direction or simply want a dedicated space to focus, this workshop provides a supportive environment to explore your ideas, develop your work, and connect with others in the artistic community.
The "Still Becoming" exhibition explores aging as a process of growth, creativity, identity, and transformation — not a conclusion, but a deepening. Artists are invited to reflect on how they are still discovering, learning, evolving, and creating meaning in later life.
The art exhibition, organized by Active Living 55-plus and the Walker House Museum, runs June 5-30. Artist submissions arebeing accepted until May 13, and there is an artist meet-and-greet, June 5.
