Suspect arrested for assaulting police after trespass complaint in Lucknow
(LUCKNOW, ON) - Monday, March 30, just before 9 a.m., South Bruce OPP officers were contacted about a man who had been trespassing during the previous night at an address in the Village of Lucknow, and who had since returned that morning to the property.

While investigating the incident, the suspect assaulted an OPP officer. The accused was taken into custody, without further incident.

Kent BIEMAN, 51, of Huron-Kinloss Township has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
 
  • Assault a Peace Officer
  • Trespassing at Night
  • Causing a Disturbance
  • Uttering threats - Cause death or Bodily Harm
  • Resist Peace Officer

The accused was processed at the South Bruce OPP detachment, held for a bail hearing, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled for May 6, at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton.
