Bill Merritt of Kincardine dies at the age of 62

William Murray “Bill” Merritt, died peacefully, with family by his side, Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, in his 63rd year.

Beloved husband of Angela Merritt for 40 years.

Father of Joe Merritt (Heidi Robson) and James Merritt; and grandfather of Dahlia Robson and Brantley Merritt.

Bill will be fondly remembered by his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and his large extended family and many friends.

Predeceased by his father, Floyd Merritt; and brother, Gord Merritt.

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 21, 2026, at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral at 11 a.m.

Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Following the interment, a reception will be held at the funeral home.
