Ripley-Huron Community School athletes compete at track and field meet

Athletes from Ripley-Huron Community School were greeted by sunny but cool weather, Monday (May 25), as they competed at the school's track and field meet held at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.

Girls and boys competed in their divisions in running races, standing long jump, running long jump, and triple jump.

The track and field results will be shared at a school-wide assembly in June and will then be available on the school’s Facebook page.

The top two athletes from each elementary school in the Kincardine area, advance to the Bluewater West (BESC) meet, slated for June 15 at the Davidson Centre track. This is the championship meet for the western part of the Bluewater District School Board.
