The Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) of Kincardine and District welcomes everyone to join in an important conversation about an age-friendly Bruce County community, Monday, June 15, from 7-9 p.m., in the Miller Insurance Room at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
Age-friendly communities focus on accessibility, transportation, housing, social inclusion, health services, and opportunities for meaningful participation for all ages. This designation helps build strong communities, meaningful connection and better living for all.
Guest speaker Emily Kussmann, director of long-term care and senior services for Bruce County, will be talking about the recent designation of age-friendly communities and the plan moving forward.
