The June Kin Cares 50/50 Draw is well under way, and excitement continues to build as the jackpot approaches the $11,000 mark. The first of two Early Bird draws will take place on June 12, with a $500 prize up for grabs, followed by a second $500 Early Bird draw, June 19. Anyone who purchases tickets before the first draw will automatically be entered in both, as well as the grand prize draw at the end of the month. Tickets will remain available until June 30, with the grand prize winner being announced July 1. Tickets can be purchased on-line at https://kincares5050.ca/, at the Legion, or at the Auxiliary Gift Shop located in the Kincardine Hospital. The Kin Cares 50/50 is a partnership between the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation and Kincardine Legion Branch 183, with proceeds supporting valuable programs and services throughout our community.
At the Saturday Meat Draw, we had just one double-dipper, and it was Al Topping, but you know Elmer won a prize as well. Marty Furnivall won the 50/50 draw and took home a cash prize of $217, a great win for a great guy!
