Sunshine returns to Kincardine area Sunday morning
What a difference a day makes!
After almost two days of blowing and drifting snow, closed roads and freezing cold temperatures, Kincardine residents were relieved to wake up Sunday morning to brilliant sunshine reflecting off all that snow. It was a lot warmer too.
The South Bruce OPP reported that as of 11:30 p.m., Saturday, only Highway 21 from Amberley to Kincardine remained closed. All the other roads had been re-opened.
By 2 a.m., Sunday, that section of Highway 21 was also re-opened.
More snow and higher temperatures are expected this week.
